FAQs

Is Fireman Up just a clothing company?

Clothing is a big part of what we do, but we think of the clothing as a tool. Just like a Fireman uses tools to accomplish a task. To learn more about Fireman Up please go to our About Us page.

Do you do any sponsoring?

We are always interested in working with people who share the same beliefs in Fireman Up. Keep in mind we receive numerous emails from people and organizations wanting us to sponsor them or their group with shirts for firefighting competitions etc... While we appreciate all those who take the time to write us the "Hey sponsor me and you will get free advertising" is not what we are looking for with Fireman Up! We want to hear about you and what you will be doing, we want to get to know you.

I Want to help promote Fireman Up.

We are honored you want to help promote Fireman Up. The best thing you can do to help promote and get the word out is LIKE and share the Fireman Up fan page on facebook, along with following us on Instagram and tagging us @FiremanUp. And of course, wearing Fireman Up clothing does the trick too.

Who is behind Fireman Up?

My wife and I run the daily operations of Fireman Up. I am a career firefighter in North Texas going on 27 years now. I have been married to my wife, Candy, for 34 years and we are still newlyweds. Yes, even after running our own business together.

Who prints your tees?

We actually do all the printing ourselves. We do all the printing by hand to give each shirt a one of a kind look and feel. Our print shop actually goes by the name of Big Dawg Shirt Shack LLC. DBA - Fireman Up. Read more at About Us

Who does your art work?

I actually do. All art is originally hand drawn and then computerized to be placed on T-shirts.

Do you do custom logos and tees?

Yes we do custom logos and tees when time permits.

When Are New Products Released?

Be the first to know about new product launches by signing up for our newsletter and by being a Fan on our Fireman Up facebook page.

Why does it cost $2 dollars more for 2X and 3X sizes?

Being that there is more material in those sizes, the manufacturer charges us more for those shirts. We do not make more money on those sizes we just pass on the cost of the extra material.

Will I be charged Taxes on my purchase?

Fireman Up is only required to collect sales tax if you are in the state of Texas.

How long does it take for orders to get here?

All our products offered are hand printed and hand stitched here in our Texas warehouse when you place your order, so that your purchase is made just for you.
As soon as it's packed for the post office you will receive a tracking number!

Due to firefighting schedules and our process, majority of the orders ship out within 3 - 7 business days of your placed order. However, custom orders can take 14 to 21 business days or more depending on the items. If you have not received a tracking number within that time frame usually means we are busy printing up the items to fill your order. After we ship our orders, please allow 5-10 business days for the USPS to deliver your order.

Orders that include Pre-orders will ship once Pre-order is in stock. Product pages will be updated with a note saying if our products are on pre-order / back-order.

Do you have international shipping options?

Yes we ship worldwide. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.

Will your shirts shrink in the wash?

We recommend to wash them in cold water, and hang dry. This is the best way to keep the fabric colors as vibrant wash after wash. We have also experienced some shrinkage with certain fabric blends if washed any other way.

What payment methods are accepted?

We use Stripe and Paypal which accepts all Major Credit Cards. It is the safest way for you to shop online, and the quickest way for us to receive your payment so we can ship your products out. If you need to use a different means, please contact us and we can invoice you through email.

How secure is your store?

Paypal or Stripe automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits.
