Happy Mother's Day
Can't even count how many times this happened to me while on shift. Especially until you have enough seniority to pick and choose what holiday you can take off. Some places you would be lucky to reach that before you retire.
Interesting thing about being a firefighter is that Holidays have to fall on the days you make them and not the days they actually are.
Everybody be careful, stay in the house, and if you can call your MOM!
